The New Media Consortium (NMC) is a community of hundreds of leading universities, colleges, museums, and research centers. The NMC stimulates and furthers the exploration and use of new media and technologies for learning and creative expression.

NMC Beyond the Horizon > Openness In Education is a conference that highlights the value of transparency and easy access to information within higher education. This online event will feature leaders from across higher ed who are developing innovative approaches to openness and accessibility of information. The NMC Annual Summer Conference is a global tech forum for higher ed, museums, libraries, and schools.
