The Texas Distance Learning Association (TxDLA) is the leading Texas membership association for distance learning professionals. Members of TxDLA are provided with access to resources including information exchange, professional development opportunities, workshops and leadership opportunities, regional group meetings, and the annual conference. In addition, TxDLA Central Texas Regional Group meetings, which take place several times a year at alternating educational settings around the Central Texas region, provide an opportunity for TxDLA members and non-members alike to share information and discuss distance learning issues important to the region. TxDLA also sponsors the TxDLA Journal of Distance Learning. For more information on the resources and services available through TxDLA, visit the TxDLA website.
Note: The costs for individual professional development, conference attendance, and training with TxDLA are normally covered by a faculty member's academic unit.
