The Texas State Round Rock Campus Testing Center offers testing services including exams for self-paced correspondence students, placement and college readiness tests, proctored exams, and additional services. Visit the Round Rock Campus Testing Center website for further information on testing and for contact information.
For distance learning students who do not live in or near San Marcos or Round Rock, testing locations may include college testing centers at other institutions of higher education or private testing centers. If you reside in Texas, consult the Testing Sites in Texas page for a partial list. Out-of-country students may contact the closest U.S. school or embassy. Be sure to verify with the potential testing site that the location offers the specific testing service you need. Also verify with your course instructor or program that the testing location is acceptable. If you need further assistance locating an acceptable testing site, you may contact the Office of Distance and Extended Learning.
