Getting Started with Canvas
You've completed Canvas training. Now what? The Getting Started with Canvas consultation is a 60-minute meeting with an instructional designer intended to provide you with support, design ideas, and delivery strategies as you consider your online or hybrid courses. If you need to reschedule or cancel a confirmed appointment, click on Manage Booking in your email confirmation.
Ask an Instructional Designer
Meet one-on-one with an instructional designer. Each 30-minute consultation is focused on your specific questions. Meetings take place using Microsoft Teams. You'll need a microphone. Webcams are not required.
Increasing Class Size Support
This one-on-one consultation service is for instructors finding their course enrollment sizes increasing. We'll help you think through considerations with design, planning, and delivery with an emphasis on student engagement and instructor manageability. This meeting will take place online using a Teams meeting.
Mini Lecture Recording Session
For those faculty wanting assistance recording a mini-lecture, ODEL staff will help you record your lecture and help you learn how to do your own recordings going forward. These recording sessions are held online and require that you have access to a stable Internet connection and a computer with a webcam and microphone attached. The sessions will last only 45 minutes. Please plan to make the most of the time by having a presentation or good notes prepared. IMPORTANT: Please request an Ensemble Anthem account now (if you don't already have one) so that it is ready by the time of our meeting.
