Study of the evolution of psychology as a science through a systematic review of the principal scientific and philosophic antecedents of modern psychology, and analysis of the status of the major contemporary theoretical schools. Prerequisite: PSY 1300 and PSY 3402 both with grades of "C" or better and instructor approval.
